Blue Light shining upon my ankles as I sit here on the floor.
Bus is shaking, and people are talking who've got nothing to say anymore; And as I stepped upon this vehicle it was standing room only. Kind of like life when you're standing in a crowd and all you want to be is alone, all you want to be is alone.

He was hiking along to Tucson, Arizona, that's what I overheard.
Got talking to a man in a corner deli, who said he'd always been poor. And he confessed he wanted to walk away, pretend he had not met him. Saw him as a chore he didn't want to carry, and he left that poor man alone. Yeah, he left that poor man alone.

Standing on the top of the mountain, sitting on the top of the hill. Finding a space to contemplate craziness, and all the world's ills;
And suddenly, inexplicably, I find I am no longer alone.
